Jumpsuits Are Everywhere
I started to wear jumpsuits a couple years ago. Prior to that, I stayed away from them since the fit was an issue. I think a couple of things have happened since then that make it easier to find one you love.
Brands like Who What Wear, Target, and Old Navy have increased the range of sizes for all women. This cute piece isn’t reserved just for those size below a 12.
“Add to that the fact that they’re basically all-in-one outfits that require zero styling work, and you’ve got a summer fashion trifecta that truly cannot be beat.”Source: Stylecaster
Along with inclusive sizing, there are a wider range of jumpsuit styles. I think this is one of the key reasons I found some that work.
As I mentioned in my previous post on jumpsuits, My Three Tips for Buying Jumpsuits for Curves, not all styles work for curves. In this post, I also mentioned a few things I look for when buying a jumpsuit. It’s been awhile since that post so I decided to update those tips.
Jumpsuit Shopping Tips
1. The Neckline Matters
I like a wrap, v-neck, scoop or square style. Basically opt for necklines that are not too high.
2. Check the Fabric
I opt for linen or thicker fabrics that will have a bit more structure. This helps keep a clean silhouette and shape.
3. Look at the Fit
As always, fit is key. I go for a fit that is not too loose or tight. This is important not only for the look but for comfort. I like to have some room. That allows me to sit and not feel tugging or pulling.
This jumpsuit from Who What Wear meets each of these three criteria! I’m loving the deep olive green color and belted waist. The wide leg style creates a clean silhouette.
