A Button Up Shirt for Work and the Weekend

I like pieces that can be worn casually but have some structure. Those are the pieces that become my favorites due to their versatility. This shirt falls into that category.
And that’s what we are Mixing Up in this post!
I’m always looking for items with a little twist. Something a little different. The henley style sets this shirt apart from my usual button up pieces.
Plus, it actually fits for curves. Finding that right fit with button up shirts can be exhausting. Am I right? So, when I find a line that fits, I am a loyal customer!

Besides the stripes, I was drawn to this Target Who What Wear shirt as I can wear it for work or the weekend. I already wore it twice to work with a yellow pleated skirt!
I wore this outfit when I went to a Japanese bakery and coffee shop in downtown Anaheim, Okayama Mobo Bakery and Cafe . This was after having lunch at the Anaheim Packing District.
I can also see myself wearing it with denim jeggings in addition to how I wore it here, with a skirt. This is a J.Crew Factory skirt from a couple seasons ago. I love how the bright blue contrasts with the gray stripes.

I added a statement necklace that’s also from J.Crew that I bought from Nordstrom Rack.  My heels are from Target’s A New Day line. I got these block heels on repeat. They be can worn with so many outfits.

Because getting dressed (and living life) should feel good!
