I have this new relationship with red that I didn’t have before blogging. It’s such a fun and bold color. So I rounded up the different ways that I wear red to wherever I am going.
And that’s what we are Mixing Up in this post!
Like I said before, I didn’t wear red much as I thought it was “too much” for me. My sense was that having a fuller figure meant that I needed to tone it down. I also was told that red was too loud against my darker complexion. I got over all of that nonsense!
Now, I like to wear red to add some color. It’s probably the one color I wear most throughout the year. I just wear it in different ways.
Sometimes I wear a red dress like the one here. I love ruffle details on the sleeves of this dress!
This dress is light and airy. The length allows me to wear it to different places like going to lunch on a Sunday with my family or for a trip to The Broad Museum
Other times, I just wear a couple of red pieces. That’s what I did here. I wore a skirt and a bag that were red to hang around Brea Downtown
It’s probably the one color I wear most throughout the year. I just wear it in different ways.
This is a fun little outfit for the weekend. I’ve worn this skirt in a variety of ways. I wear it for work and the weekend. It’s always flattering!
Additionally, I like to have just a pop of red. It can just be my shoes. That’s what I did with this outfit. These ruffle slides are perfect for the weekend. I wore this outfit to California Adventure
Lastly, the pop of red that I am almost always sporting is a red lip. I love my MAC lip color!
