I tried a Belt Bag and this is what happened

I like to try out new trends but don’t want to spend too much. Found this belt bag and wanted to give it a try.

And that’s what we are Mixing Up in this post!

Target has really stepped up their game with respect to fashion forward pieces. I am loving there new lines A New Day and Who What Wear. They have so many pieces with a little bit of the latest trend without being over the top.

I got excited when I saw this A New Day belt bag. Not is only cute, but it’s in a bright red! I was worried that it wouldn’t fit me. That’s happened to me before. This one fit perfect. You can get it here.

I paired the belt bag with a top from Who What Wear. I’m loving the little flower details in this print. This one is in a size XL and you can get it here.

My jeans are from Diane Gilman DG2. This pair is from a collaboration I did and I’ve been wearing them ever since! I am wearing a size 14 and you can get a pair here.

So let’s talk about what happened when I tried trend out. First of all, if you are like me, you are careful about what trends you try. Some things work and some things don’t!

What worked with this bag was the fit first. I felt comfortable. Second was the color. I like to wear color so this red was perfect. Last was functionality. I can actually use this bag to carry my phone, a lipstick and a small wallet. So I can actually use it!

What trend are you giving a try?

… Because getting (and living life) should feel good!
