The Holidays: An Excuse to Try Something Different

The Holiday season means dressing things up a bit right? We feel like we need to answer this question:

Do I want to dress up a bit or be comfortable?

Both can happen. And, it’s the perfect season to branch out of your comfort zone. Try something new.

That’s what we are mixing up in this post.

Holiday gatherings give you a chance to spice things up a bit.

I’m not one for too much leather or sparkle in my outfits. I have tried on leather pants before but always had an issue with the fit being too tight or stiff.

Then… I was looking for some socks at Target and then saw these leggings. These Faux Leather leggings from Target Merona are my new favorites! I’m wearing an XL. I love that they have a wide waist band.  These Faux Leather leggings meet my usual criteria: flattering & comfortable

To make sure I felt comfortable and to mix up textures, I threw on my Target Who What Wear Oversized Cardigan. This cardigan is thick enough to keep me warm without being too bulky.  I am wearing a Large.

Underneath that is my new “go to”, Target Who What Wear Cami. This one is an 2XL. I like that you can adjust the straps on this top. Just depends on how much coverage you want.

Last little goodie is my Target Merona clutch. Adds a little leopard to the mix. A simple clutch can help kick an outfit up a notch. I like that this Target Merona clutch helps pull the outfit together.
