Athleisure…

Athleisure… For those folks, like myself, who wear yoga pants and leggings to go grocery shopping or to run errands: Good news!  Now it’s now a trend.
That’s we are  “mixing up”  in this post.

My gray hat

Love this jacket! Details are in the “Style Breakdown”
The basic concept behind Athleisure is that gym clothes can be worn outside of the gym. Work out clothes can be both versatile and comfortable.
I buy a lot of my workout clothes from Target. The fit is great and the clothing is inexpensive. With Athleisure picking up steam, Target’s C9 has definitely stepped up their game.

In the past I would only buy bottoms from Target. The other pieces I owned were from Nordstrom’s Zella line. The jackets at Target weren’t the best quality a few years back. I still like Zella but now Target is a viable option.

Target C9 just came out the jacket in this post. It’s now my favorite! It’s still in stores. Its a moto style jacket that’s cozy and has arm holes. It’s comfy while still being flattering. The zipper is asymmetrical with a cowl neck.

Mixing Up Pieces for an Athleisure Outfit- An Athleisure outfit doesn’t need to be sloppy. You can combine other pieces to make sure you look put together. I sometimes add a scarf, a hat, or a cami. In this post, I went with an H and M scarf.

… because getting dressed (and living life) should feel good!
