My Black Friday…

So this post won’t give you tips on where to get the best deals and steals for Black Friday. I am not brave enough to hit the mall on Black Friday but can appreciate a good sale online.

I do have an outfit that I put together that has “Black”, along with White and Blue. Nothing beats thinking of an outfit from clothes you already own. That’s what I am “mixing” up in this post:

I don’t wear a ton of black since I love color. But when I do, I add a “pop” of color. Breaks up the black and white pattern. And, more importantly, it makes me very happy!

“Pop” of Blue with Black and White

These pieces were already in my closet but I hadn’t worn them together.

The skirt, from Bebe a few seasons ago, can be worn as a dress. The top is just a scoop neck tee from H and M. I added a belt from Target Merona to pull the outfit together. This was what I wore for Thanksgiving! (That explains why there are so many pictures in this post. In case you were wondering!)

Mixing in the “Pop” of Color- The inspiration for this outfit was my Franco Sarto slingback heels! Got these a few seasons ago. I wear them with black/white. They work well with other color combos like yellow, orange and wine.

Below, is my husband and me before heading off for Thanksgiving. Lucky for me, my husband is pretty fashionable (among other more important things). His Style Breakdown is below:

I loved that this dress is flowy! Feels like I’m playing dress up. All the extra room was great especially after Thanksgiving dinner. It’s all about being comfortable…

… because getting dressed (and living life) should feel good!
